Forschungsgebiet

Ich beschäftige mich mit der Modellierung und Simulation von biologischen Materialien. Dazu werden einfache, physikalische Modelle aufgestellt, die dann mittels Computersimulation untersucht werden. Die Methode der Wahl ist hierfür die Monte Carlo Simulation. Untersuchte Thematiken waren bisher der Umbau in trabekulärem Knochen, die plastische Verformung von Knochen auf der nano Ebene und Gold Kolloide an der Wasser-Öl Grenzschicht.
